Conference Venue

 

The building of the Hungarian Parliament is located on the bank of the Danube. Built in the style of Gothic Revival, it is the largest building in Hungary and the second largest Parliament in Europe. The construction period started in 1885 and ended in 1904. During this period, more or less 1000 people were working on the building, they used 40 million bricks, 500 thousand decoration stones and 40 kg of gold. The building is 268 meters long, 123 meters large, 95 meters high and stands on 17745 m2. There are more than 200 offices in the building. The river side part is considered as the front façade, but the main entrance is to be found at the

Kossuth square side. All in all, there are 242 statues on the walls and important murals and paintings are used as decorations in the Parliament.
